Five Hawks Project

As a part of our clubs goal for the 2022-2023 school year to expand volunteering to all ages, five of our members started a service project for local elementary school kids at Five Hawks Elementary. Organized by Leah Bottemiller, and ran during the after-school program, members led kids in making cards for their favorite teachers and played games with them as well. The goal of this outreach is to spread this program to other local elementary schools and hopefully generate enough interest for our first Alpha Club. An Alpha Club is a great opportunity for the JOC to mentor younger students about the joys of volunteering.
