This year’s Dance with Me Ball was truly a magical night that will be remembered by the many children who attended. Hosted by Community Ed, the atmosphere and food were incredible with Paris, France-themed decorations, macarons, croissants, and other French menu items. The Disney princesses and princes made it even more magical! I had the amazing opportunity to volunteer for this event along with many other high-school students, including those from the Junior Optimist Club. I remember when I attended this exact dance when I was younger, and it is a core memory of mine. Getting the opportunity to be a part of this event again was something I couldn’t pass up. Dancing with all the kids in their gorgeous outfits was the highlight of it all. I was overwhelmed by the kindness of all the parents and children. There were even nicely decorated places for pictures, a DJ with immaculate music taste and littles with smiles on their faces. It was definitely a night to remember!
